Sterling Silver and Carved Amber Hummingbird Necklace

Description

This carved amber hummingbird necklace is highly detailed. The flower and hummingbird design has been hand carved from the backside of the amber up into the gemstone. This style of carving is sometimes called a reverse cameo, because the carving is done up into the stone. This is unlike a cameo that is carved on the outside of the stone. The amber is dark brown and the carved areas are a cream color.

This necklace is handmade in Poland from Baltic amber and sterling silver.

The chain is 18 inches in length, our most popular length. The pendant measures 1.75 inches long (including the bail) by .75 inches wide.
