Amber Jewelry

Amber jewelry available at Glassando is handmade. Most of our amber is from Poland. Polish amber is also known as Baltic amber since Poland is part of the Baltic region of the world. Our jewelry available for sale includes handmade Baltic amber earrings, handmade necklaces and pendants, and handmade bracelets.

Jewelry Styles

Glassando features many unusual styles of amber such as hand carved amber jewelry, and more modern looking amber jewelry featuring amber inlay. Metal used in our handmade amber jewelry is all sterling silver unless otherwise noted.

Our Location

Be sure to stop in at Glassando’s store inside downtown Iowa City’s Old Capitol Mall. At our store we have even more handmade amber and sterling silver jewelry than is featured on our website! Please note that while we do not have an outside entrance, our boutique jewelry store is easy to find! Find us inside Old Capitol Mall across from Raising Cane’s. The Old Capitol Mall can also be called the University Capitol Center or the University Town Center and it is located next to the University of Iowa Pentacrest. Glassando is open 6 days a week. Our staff is always happy to help you find the perfect piece of artisan handmade jewelry.
