Sterling Silver, Moldavite, and Meteorite Ring in size 7

Description

This sterling silver, moldavite, and meteorite ring in size 7 is great for anyone who loves outer space. The meteorite has been polished and etched so the classic Widmanstätten patterns of intersecting lines are visible.

The entire ring is 7 MM wide, with the meteorite inlay being approximately 5 MM wide. The ring also has a faceted moldavite that measures approximately 3 MM across. Please note this ring cannot be sized.

This ring is handmade by Starborn Creations, and features the word STARBORN and 925 inside the ring. The ring also has Starborn Creations shooting star logo on the inside of the ring. On the outside bottom of the ring the word “METEORITE” has been engraved.

Meteorite Jewelry

This jewelry is made from genuine meteorite pieces and sterling silver. A meteorite is a rock that originated in other space and has fallen to the surface of a planet or moon. When the original object enters the atmosphere, various factors such as friction, pressure and chemical interactions with the atmospheric gases cause it to heat up and radiate energy. It than becomes a meteor and forms a fireball, also known as a shooting star; astronomers call the brightest examples “bolides”. Once it settles on the larger body’s surface, the meteor becomes a meteorite.
