This handmade faceted purple amethyst and freshwater pearl pendant is set in .925 sterling silver. The amethyst stone is shaped like a rounded triangle and the small pearl is light grey. This pendant was designed and crafted by artist Cheryl Sirkus in northern California. The pendant is stamped on the back with “SAW” for the artist’s company, Sonoma Art Works, and “925” so you can rest assured you are getting genuine .925 sterling silver jewelry.
This amethyst pendant measures approximately 0.8″ long (including the bail, or loop for chain) by approximately 0.38” wide. Please note that the dime is not included but is shown to help you gauge the size of the jewelry. The pendant uses a small bail (loop for chain) which allows the pendant to fit onto most thin to medium style chains or cords (not included) or to work as a unique focal bead for your own design.
Don’t forget that amethyst is a birthstone for February, which would make this pendant a great gift for anyone born in that month or with someone special born in that month. This pendant would be great for anyone who loves purple stones, petite stone pendants, or handmade sterling silver jewelry. This brand new pendant comes with our original store tags and gift box, great for giving or storage for years to come. The pendant also comes with an information card from the artist which states the following:
Our designs are created in the studio of Sonoma Art Works, located in Sonoma Valley amidst the vineyards of northern California’s wine country. The jewelry is designed by the artist Cheryl Sirkus whose creations begin on her sketch pad and are transformed into the precious metals that are used.
The majority of our original designs have been hand cast in sterling silver and 14k gold vermeil. They capture the feeling of elegance and femininity in a very understated way. The semiprecious gemstones and pearls enhance their subtle and natural beauty.
We are pleased to share them with you.
