These handmade created blue opal earrings are set in .925 sterling silver. These earrings feature a oval shaped blue opal stone set in each earring. The opals are blue with flashes of pink and green in the light. A small freshwater pearl is set below the opal on each earring. These earrings were designed and crafted by artist Cheryl Sirkus in northern California. The earrings use a classic hook style ear wire that fits easily into the ear. The back of each earring is stamped with “SAW” for the artist’s company, Sonoma Art Works, and “925” so you can rest assured you are getting genuine .925 sterling silver jewelry.
These opal earrings measure approximately 1.1″ long (including the ear wire) by approximately 0.25” wide. Please note that the dime is not included but is shown to help you gauge the size of the earrings.
Don’t forget that opal is a birthstone for October, which would make these earrings a great gift for anyone born in that month or with someone special born in that month. These earrings would also be a great gift for anyone who loves blue stones, opal jewelry, petite dangle earrings, or handmade sterling silver jewelry. These brand new earrings come with our original store label and gift box, great for giving or storage for years to come. The earrings also come with an information card from the artist which states the following:
Our designs are created in the studio of Sonoma Art Works, located in Sonoma Valley amidst the vineyards of northern California’s wine country. The jewelry is designed by the artist Cheryl Sirkus whose creations begin on her sketch pad and are transformed into the precious metals that are used.
The majority of our original designs have been hand cast in sterling silver and 14k gold vermeil. They capture the feeling of elegance and femininity in a very understated way. The semiprecious gemstones and pearls enhance their subtle and natural beauty.
