Necklaces and pendants are a large part of Glassando’s handmade artisan jewelry. We stock both silver and gold pieces. Sterling silver and natural stone pieces include birthstone necklaces and pendants. We also feature lots of pendants made from naturally expired REAL BUTTERFLY WINGS. These pieces include monarch butterfly pendants, blue morpho butterfly pendants, and yellow swallowtail butterfly pendants. Other handmade jewelry includes amber pendants, tiger’s eye pendants, black onyx pendants, amethyst pendants, lapis lazuli pendants, jasper pendants, agate pendants, fossil pendants, and more natural stone pendants!
Our boutique jewelry store inside downtown Iowa City’s Old Capitol Mall is open 6 days a week with a large selection of additional necklaces and pendants not pictured on our website!

Our downtown Iowa City store is located inside the Old Capitol Mall. It is on the first floor. We do not have an outside entrance. Please note that the Old Capitol Mall is also sometimes called the Old Capitol Town Center or the University Capitol Center. Located in the heart of downtown Iowa City, the Old Capitol town Center is right next to the University of Iowa Pentacrest. Convenient parking is available in the Capitol Street Parking Ramp. This parking ramp is attached to the Old Capitol Town Center. The first hour of parking is free in this parking ramp!
