Sarah Cavender Jewelry

Sarah Cavender jewelry, is handmade jewelry often featuring metal mesh. These handmade necklaces are made in Sarah’s small shop in Alabama by Sarah and local crafts-people under her direct supervision. Sarah considers each jewelry piece a limited edition work of art. Sarah Cavender formed Sarah Cavender Metalworks after graduating the The University of Arts in Philadelphia, Pa with a major in Sculpture in 1984. She started with brass screen, developing a technique of treating and folding mesh to create beautiful flowers. Today her handmade jewelry often includes three dimensional knot necklaces and flower necklaces with unusual colors.
