Sterling Silver and Carved Amber Rose Earrings

Description

These Carved amber rose earrings are highly detailed. The roses have been hand carved from the backside of the amber up into the gemstone. This style of carving is sometimes called a reverse cameo, because the carving is done up into the stone. This is unlike a cameo that is carved on the outside of the stone.

These earrings are handmade in Poland from Baltic amber and sterling silver.

The earrings measure approximately 1.5 inches long including the ear-wire. The earrings measure approximately .5 inches wide.

The earrings feature a lever back style ear-wire. The lever folds down so the hook can easily slip into a pierced ear, then fold back up for added security.
