This handmade petrified wood and sterling silver pendant is dark brown and gray with a subtle layer of red throughout part of the stone. The petrified wood also has hints of light blue in the light. The petrified wood is from a conifer (pine) tree from Arizona in the United States. Please note that each piece is natural, so you will receive the exact pendant pictured. This pendant has a large bail, allowing it to easily fit onto most chains or cords (not included) or to work as a focal bead for your own unique beaded design.
All the silver work for the pendant was done exclusively for our store by artists in Taxco, Mexico. Taxco is a city that is very well known for the beautiful silver work produced there. The back of the pendant is stamped with “925” so you can rest assured it is all genuine .925 sterling silver and a “G” to mark that the pendant design is exclusive to our store, Glassando.
This large oval pendant measures approximately 2.2″ long including the bail (loop for chain). At its widest point, the pendant measures approximately 1.23″ across. Please note that the dime is not included but is shown to help you gauge the size of the pendant.
This petrified wood pendant would make a great gift for anyone looking for unique stone jewelry, or anyone who likes pine trees or petrified wood jewelry. This pendant comes with our original store tags and gift box, great for giving or storage for years to come.
