These handmade faceted garnet and freshwater pearl earrings are set in .925 sterling silver. The garnet stones are bright red and shaped like pears. The freshwater pearls are light gray. These garnet earrings were designed and created by artist Cheryl Sirkus in northern California. The earrings use a classic hook style ear wire that slips easily into the ear. The back of the earrings are stamped with “SAW” for the artist’s company, Sonoma Art Works, and “925” so you can rest assured you are getting genuine .925 sterling silver jewelry.
These drop earrings measure approximately 1.07″ long including the ear wire. At the widest point, the earrings measure approximately 0.38″ across. Please note that the dime is not included but is shown to help you gauge the size of the earrings.
Since garnet is the January birthstone, these earrings would make a great gift for anyone born in that month or with someone special born in that month. These earrings would be perfect for anyone who loves garnet jewelry, pearl jewelry, red earrings, or handmade sterling silver jewelry.
These brand new earrings come with our original jewelry store tags and gift box, great for giving or storage for years to come. The earrings also come with an information card from the artist which states the following:
Our designs are created in the studio of Sonoma Art Works, located in Sonoma Valley amidst the vineyards of northern California’s wine country. The jewelry is designed by the artist Cheryl Sirkus whose creations begin on her sketch pad and are transformed into the precious metals that are used.
The majority of our original designs have been hand cast in sterling silver and 14k gold vermeil. They capture the feeling of elegance and femininity in a very understated way. The semiprecious gemstones and pearls enhance their subtle and natural beauty.
We are pleased to share them with you.
