This handmade Stromatolite fossil and sterling silver pendant tells a fascinating story of life on Earth.  All metal used is .925 sterling silver. The stromatolite fossil is a layered combination of browns, whites, and grays; these layers indicate life on Earth throughout the years.  The stone pendant is a tapered rectangle (smaller top with a larger bottom).  Stromatolite fossils are made up of layered biochemical structures formed in shallow waters by the trapping and binding of biofilms.

The pendant measures approximately
2” tall (including the bail or loop for chain) by .8” wide at the widest point. Please note that the dime is not included but shown to help you gauge the size of the pendant. The bail is large and would work well with many different styles of chains (not included), cords (not included) or as a unique focal bead for your own beaded design.

This pendant makes a great gift for anyone who loves fossils, uncommon stones, unique pendants, Made in the USA jewelry, or handmade sterling silver jewelry.
