rainforest sustainable use product, these flower shaped statement earrings are created from naturally expired real butterfly wings, amethyst, and .925 sterling silver. NO BUTTERFLIES ARE HARMED.

These dangle earrings feature an eye-catching flower design. Each earring has six "petals" made from the real butterfly wings and a faceted purple amethyst set in the center of the flower. These earrings feature resin on both sides, so you can see wings on both the front and back of each earring. The front side of the wing is a bright mix of yellow, orange, green, and black. The back side of the earrings shows three dark brown wings and three multicolor wings. The resin makes the earrings water resistant and preserves the butterfly wings so they will last for years.

These earrings measure approximately 2.45" long (including the ear wire). At the widest point, the earrings measure approximately 1.63" across. Please note that the dime is not included but is shown to help you gauge the size of the earrings. The earrings use a classic hook style ear wire that slips easily into the ear. Each earring is stamped with "925" so you can rest assured you are getting genuine .925 sterling silver jewelry.
These artisan earrings would be a great gift for anyone who is eco conscious, loves butterflies or flowers, or anyone who loves handmade sterling silver jewelry. These brand new earrings come with our original store tags and gift box, as well as an information card which states the following:

Real Butterfly Wing Jewelry

This jewelry contains real butterfly wings under resin set in sterling silver. NO butterflies are harmed. Butterflies live out their natural lifespan on butterfly farms within the Amazon rainforest. This jewelry helps protect the habitat of butterflies and also supports native families.
