A rainforest sustainable use product, this handmade pendant is created from naturally expired butterfly wings and .925 sterling silver. NO BUTTERFLIES ARE HARMED. 

The pendant is shaped like a butterfly and features a detailed sterling silver butterfly body and antenna. This pendant features resin on both sides, so you can see wings on both the front and back of the pendant. The front side of the wing is mostly bright blue while the tips of the wings are yellow. The back side of the wing is brown. The resin makes pendant water resistant and preserves the butterfly wings so they will last for years.

The pendant measures approximately 1.3" long (including the bail). At the widest point, the pendant measures approximately 1.55" across. Please note that the dime is not included but is shown to help you gauge the size of the pendant. The pendant has a large bail (loop for chain) which would allow the pendant to fit easily onto most styles of chains or cords (not included). The back of the bail is stamped with "925" so you can rest assured you are getting genuine .925 sterling silver jewelry.
